WHAT IS SAARIHELVETTI?

WHERE CAN I GET MY TICKET?
All ticket types include ferry tickets to and from the island.
If you are unable to purchase your ticket in advance and if the festival has not sold out in advance, you may purchase a ticket at the harbour. The ticket sales are open on Friday and Saturday from 12:00 – 20:45. Cash and all of the popular credit cards are accepted.

HOW DO I GET TO THIS ISLAND?
You can get to the island with Suomen Hopealinja ferries. The ferries depart from Laukontori harbour, in the centre of Tampere. The address is Laukontori, 33200 Tampere.
The festival does not have parking, therefore you would need to park on the streets which are monitored and charged for by the city of Tampere. We would recommend arriving by bicycle or walking.
The first ferry on Friday departs at 15:00 (VIP 14:45) and ferries run all day with the final ferry to the island at 21:00. In the beginning of the day, all four ferries will run continuously, but once the queues are low, the ferries will depart once an hour on the hour (16:00, 17:00 etc.). The ferry departs Viikinsaari back to the city centre once an hour on the half hour (16:30, 17:30 etc.) with the last ferry leaving 00:30 or 01:30, depending on traffic at the island.
The first ferry on Saturday departs at 14:00 (VIP 13:45).
Ferry tickets are included in all ticket types.
As the island has thousands of visitors for SaariHelvetti, we ask our customers for patience when waiting for ferries.
